Swoop is a one-stop shop for businesses seeking finance. Our user-friendly tech platform simplifies and speeds up access to loans, grants and equity funding across Ireland and the UK. We integrate with multiple data sources to help our customers build their business profile quickly and be instantly matched to funding. Our customers also have their own financial dashboard to keep up to date on their financial and liquidity metrics and we alert them when they become eligible for new funds or savings. Once we match to the right funding or saving we manage the application process so that our customers can focus on building their business. Customers range from start-up business to larger corporates requiring capital.

Our partners are an important part of Swoop as we work very closely with a wide range of partners in a variety of ways. The Swoop Partnership Manager will work on onboarding and signing up new lead generating partners while managing our existing partner relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow the business channel
  • Meet partners face to face and build new relationships
  • Being the main point of contact for partner firms and building strong relationships with those firms
  • Taking enquiries made by your partners from our funding platform through to a successful funding experience for their clients
  • Performing webinars of our platform to prospective and new partners
  • Training partners to use the platform and discussing funding opportunities from their clients
  • Speaking directly and via our platform to Accountants and the CEOs, Founders and Finance Directors of their clients across a range of sectors
  • Developing your business knowledge by learning about various business models and their funding requirements
  • Learn about all forms of finance available to UK and Irish businesses

Your skills and experiences:

  • Great relationship building skills
  • Experience of managing affiliates is advantageous but not essential
  • A keen understanding of metrics
  • Proven ability to handle difficult and sometimes negative conversations
  • Basic understanding of contracts and negotiations (not essential but a benefit)
  • A passion for technology, the startup community, and supporting other businesses as they grow
  • Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, be presentable and confident to conduct business on the phone and in person
  • Dynamic, entrepreneurial and work well in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
  • Highly driven to succeed both individually and as part of a team
  • Quick to understand, and explain our wide range of financial products available on the platform
