As we expand our presence into North America, we are excited to grow our dynamic team to support our ambitious growth targets. With established offices in London, Dublin, Sydney, Cape Town, and Toronto, this role will be based in North America, and report directly to the UK-based Global Head of Marketing.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to join our newly formed North America-based team. This role will be crucial in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan aimed at driving awareness and demand generation activities within our newest and rapidly expanding market.
In this role, you will be responsible for working across all marketing disciplines, ensuring that content, messaging, and campaigns are tailored and targeted to the US market. Your primary focus will be on driving new customer acquisition and increasing the top-of-funnel leads. You will manage campaigns across various channels including SEO, paid search, partnerships, content, social media, and CRM.
Working closely with the UK-based global marketing team, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of content and campaigns, budget management, ROI tracking, and the evaluation of all North American marketing activities. You will take the lead on planning and executing fully integrated campaigns that drive overall demand for the Swoop platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead generation: Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive top-of-funnel lead acquisition, targeting SMBs in key US regions and industries.
- Content marketing: Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality, targeted content aimed at attracting and converting qualified leads.
- Digital Marketing: Manage SEO, paid search, and social media advertising efforts to maximize online visibility and lead generation.
- Partnerships: Establish and manage marketing activity with strategic partners to increase referral traffic and lead volume.
- Campaign management: Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across all channels, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Analytics & reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Regularly report on key metrics including lead volume, cost per lead, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Budget management: Allocate and manage the marketing budget effectively to maximize ROI and ensure the achievement of quality lead generation targets.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with US based funding managers and global UK-based marketing team as well as other global internal functions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience: 3+ years experience in a marketing role, preferably in a scaleup environment within the FinTech or financial services sector.
- Market knowledge: An understanding of business funding in the North American market, particularly in target regions such as Florida, New York, Texas, California, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
- Digital marketing expertise: Demonstrated experience in managing digital marketing channels, including SEO, paid marketing, social media, content marketing, and email campaigns.
- Content creation: Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive engagement and conversions.
- Analytical skills: Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and optimize marketing performance. Strong ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Project management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
- Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and departments – internally and internationally.
- Additional Skills: Experience with HubSpot is a bonus, excellent copywriting abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

- You are an experienced marketer with a background in financial services, ideally with three or more years in a B2B marketing role.
- You have a proven track record of driving growth through innovative and effective marketing initiatives.

- You possess strong creative and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute new marketing activities while analyzing their impact and optimizing for better results.
- You are a self-starter, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- You are commercially minded, with a blend of creative thinking and a focus on driving results.
- You are comfortable working across multiple teams and with international colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
