Swoop is delighted to announce its partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – and to be able to offer all Swoop tech startups an amazing $5k of free credit. 

AWS provides startups with low cost, easy to use infrastructure needed to scale and grow any size business. And with the AWS Activate Program, you’ll be given access to resources specifically designed to help new tech businesses get started on AWS. 

Some of the world’s hottest and most successful startups use AWS, including Airbnb, Lyft, and Slack, so you’ll be good company. 

Who’s eligible?

If you’re a technology business, and you’re matched with funding through Swoop, you’ll be eligible. The benefits include:

• $5k in AWS Promotional Credit valid for 2 years
• 1 year of Business Support (up to $1,500)
• Opportunities to Qualify for Additional Credits

Tell me about the credits

The AWS Activate Credits cover most AWS services. A comprehensive list of eligible services, your exact credit amount, expiration date, and the remaining balance of your credits, can all be viewed on the AWS Billing and Cost Management console.

Your AWS Activate Credits are automatically applied to your AWS account upon receipt of your application approval email. You won’t need to take any action. 

Tell me about the free AWS Business Support

AWS Business Support provides 24 hrs a day, 7 days per week technical support, a call/chat support channel, and premium response speed, in addition to the account help from AWS Basic Support.

Tell me about the training

You will receive 80 credits for self-paced labs training, which provides hands-on practice with AWS services in the AWS Cloud environment. The AWS Training and Certification site offers free digital trainings for AWS skill levels ranging from beginner to expert.

How do I apply for AWS Activate benefits?

Once your funding process with Swoop is complete, we’ll send a unique code to start your application process. You will need to sign in with a valid AWS account to access the application, which will be provided by Swoop.
