The Company is a subsidiary of BizFly Limited, registered in Ireland (company number 601838) and in England and Wales as a Foreign Company (FC034596) and as a UK Branch (BR019688).
The term ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to the user of the service.
Swoop Finance Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Account Information Services Provider (reference number 833145) and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (reference number ZA600162).
For credit broking services, Swoop Finance Limited is an Appointed Representative of Resolution Compliance Limited, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (reference number 574048).
We are a broker, not a finance provider.
At Swoop, we help businesses access finance from a wide range of lenders, investors and government grant agencies that are suitable for your requirements and we help you make savings by comparing your costs for banking, utilities and other services with offers from other providers.
We identify solutions that are most suitable for your requirements (based on the information you disclose to us).
We will provide you with information about relevant finance providers and service providers, to ensure that you understand the conditions of any offer before you decide to proceed.
You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us. We may ask some questions to narrow down the selection of products/options that may be available to you. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed.
For the avoidance of doubt, Swoop Finance Limited is not a lender, investor, grant provider or product provider; we are an Aggregator of Information Services Provider and a credit broker. The purpose of our service is to introduce you to suitable business finance providers and business service offerings.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide support for the service, by phone on 0203 514 3044 (9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday), by email on email@example.com or via our web chat service. However, we make no guarantee as to the availability or response time of the service, and we have the right to withdraw access at any time.
If for any reason you wish to make a complaint about our service, you can do this by writing to our Complaints Manager at Swoop Finance Ltd, 66-67 Newman Street, London W1T 3EQ, by telephoning us on 0203 514 3044, or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will try to resolve your concern at the earliest time possible.
We will not charge you any fee for our Credit Broker service, as we receive payment directly from the lender(s) based upon successful provision of finance.
We will not charge you for the provision of our comparison and switching service, as we receive payment directly from the service provider based upon successful provision of their service.
We may charge you for the provision of our service of matching your business to equity investors, based upon the successful provision of equity finance as a result of an introduction from Swoop. We will in this case provide you with an engagement letter setting out clearly the service we are offering, including how our matching service works and the payments due upon the successful provision of the service. This is to ensure you understand the conditions of the provision of services before you proceed. Swoop will only proceed with the provision of investment matching services upon receipt of a signed engagement letter by you.
If you would like to know how much we will be paid by the lender or other service providers, we will disclose this information to you on request.
